The function of this section is showing you how to manage messages within the Bytecurve 360 application. This section will show you how to create messages within the system. Follow the steps below.


Messages view

To open Messages view go to Set-up > Employee Messaging. List of messages that were send during last week will be displayed on the view.

  1. Date created - date when a message was sent.
  2. Sent by  First and Last name of a user who sent the message.
  3. Sent viathe method of delivery for the message:
    • In-app devices - messages sent via Driver App, Clock;
  4. Viewed by
    • For In-app devices - 'number of people who viewed the message'/'number of recipients';
  5. Actions
    • Message - to view the message;
    • Recipients - list of first and last names of recipients, check mark if the message was read, a device where the message was first read.
    • Resend - to resend the message.

Creating a Message

To create a message, follow the steps given below:

  1. Navigate to Set-up > Employee Messaging or Operations -> Dispatch -> Frequently Used -> Create message.


The interface for creating a message will appear, as shown below.


    2. Select the method of delivery by selecting Send via (In-app devices).

    3. Recipient Selector contains the list of all Employees. Select all Employees that you want to send message to.

  • An Employee who is not registered for the DriverOn app will be greyed out. Upon hovering over their name, the following message will be displayed: “This employee is not yet a registered driver app user”.  You still will be able to select this Employee, and the message will be available via the Bytecurve Clock.

    4. Selected Recipients - list of Employees who will receive the message.

    5. Text box is for you to enter the message.

   6. Click on Send button to send the message.

After the message is sent, it will be displayed showing a confirmation that the message was delivered.


Note:  Once a message has been submitted, it cannot be rescinded or canceled.

The intended employee(s) will be prompted to read the message the next time they log in to the Bytecurve Clock or DriveOn app.
