The function of this section is showing you how to manage schools within the Bytecurve 360 application. This section will show you how to create schools within the system. Follow the steps below.


Creating a School

To create a school, follow the steps given below:

1. Navigate to Set-up > Schools

Shown below is the screen that will appear.



2. You will see schools that you have already created in the system. Select "Add School".


 3. Fill in all required fields. You can enter the school's name and select "locate" and the system will search for the correct address. The other option you have is putting in the complete address and selecting "locate" to also achieve the correct location. Continue to by inputting both "start" and "stop" times. as well as a "school code"/abbreviation for the school you are adding. This will make for easier reference.


 4. Now, create a geo-fence around the desired location. You can either use the circular fence, or create a polygon fence. When creating a fence, it is suggested that you use the "Satellite" view in order to cover any areas the buses could stage, or pass through. You will be able to do that by dragging the white dots when drawing the fence. After creating the area you want to use, click done. See below for a completed example. 



After checking that all information is correct, select, "save". 



You have successfully created a school within the Bytecurve 360 application.


Editing a School

To create a school, follow the steps given below:

1. Navigate to Set-up > Schools

Shown below is the screen that will appear.



2. Click on the pencil icon.



3. The, "Manage Schools" screen will appear. You have the opportunity to make any changes to your initial set up. This includes changing school details, or re-drawing your geo-fence. After you are done, press save.


4. You have successfully edited school details within the Bytecurve 360 application.
