IMPORTANT:  You must contact Bytecurve Support (https://bytecurve.freshdesk.com/en/support/tickets/new) to obtain a temporary URL to the app installation package before proceeding with the installation.  

Bytecurve Support can only supply this package for officially supported devices (Viewsonic VSD-242, VSD-243, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+).

NOTE: Before starting the install process, please temporarily disconnect any connected peripheral devices such as barcode scanners, RFID scanners, etc. to allow access to the on-screen keyboard.  These devices can be reconnected after the installation is complete.

On the application listing screen, Click on Chrome

 

Then type in the URL provided to you by Bytecurve Support and click on Go.
NOTE: The URL in the screenshot below is only an example.  You must contact Bytecurve Support for a customized one-time use URL prior to performing the installation.

 

 

 

Open the application listing screen again and click on ‘ES File Explorer’

 

 

The following screen is displayed.  Click on the item with the label containing “Download”.

 

 

 

 

 

All downloaded files will be displayed on the screen . Click on “bytecurve360-timeclock.prod.apk” file, as highlighted in the screenshot below

 

 

A pop-up window is displayed as below.  Click on the ‘Install’ button

  

The user may be prompted to confirm, as indicated in the screenshot below.  Click on “Install” again:

 

A confirmation screen is displayed, indicating a successful install.  Click on “Open”.

 


Upon your first time launching the application. If asked, enter your activation code. If not, proceed to the next step.  If you do not know your activation code, please contact support@bytecurve.com for assistance before proceeding.

The clock application is now available for use and will indicate version 3.1.3 at the bottom of the screen.
