Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance)


New features:

  1. Provision to add 'walk time' to sign-in and/or sign-out time to the employee 'paid times' based on a configurable setting.  This feature can be used when tablets are stored in the bus and the employee signs in/out from the tablet after walking to the bus from their dispatch office.


Enhancements:

  1. Corporate Asset Number field for Vehicles now allows non alpha-numeric characters like hyphen, space and dot.
  2. Premium pay eligibility determination (for 'split shift' and 'spread of hours') criteria updated to exclude non-worked hours such as jury duty, paid time-off, etc.
  3. Added more block amounts in the block quantity selection field to include a wider selection of block amounts and updated associated reports. 
  4. If a task code that is selected as a 'Master' task code for overtime calculations is deleted, an error message is displayed and the user is prevented from deleting this task code.


Bug fixes:

  1. The 'Locate all buses' function on the Dispatch screen stopped working due to a change in Google Maps, this has been addressed.
  2. The Locate buses function did not work when the fleet size of a Location exceeded a certain number, this has been fixed.
  3. If the 'paid start or end time' of an employee is edited manually, this task was still a candidate for auto-verification resulting in paid times that deviated from actual times by more than the allowed threshold.  Such tasks will no longer be a candidate for auto-verification.
  4. The 'Task Group' filter on the payroll verification screen (detailed view) was not working, this has been fixed.
  5. Employee messaging: the display of when the employee read his/her message was in GMT, this has now been corrected to display the location's local time.  Also fixed an issue with the 'Sent by' filter on the employee messaging screen.
  6. Fixed an issue where certain stops were not being geocoded when importing Runs into the system from excel files
  7. In the Excel import of Runs and Stops, the system was not deleting or updating a Run that's attached to a Route.  This issue has been addressed.
  8. Fixed the sort order of the Employee list in the Employee Messaging screen; this is now in alphabetical order
  9. This fix applies only to the Daily Tasks call in the Bytecurve Reporting API: the guaranteed hours that were previously being returned in the 'flatHours' field will be returned in the 'guaranteeHours' field.
  10. In the Employee import process, if the file contains no value for the 'Exempt' field, it was imported as a blank while this is a required filed.  This has been fixed to default to a value of 'No'.
  11. Error messages displayed on the 'Weekly View - Payroll' screen persist until the user moves to a different screen.  This issue has been fixed so that the message disappears after being displayed for a few seconds as with other error messages.
  12. When adding an Employee task from the payroll verification screens, the vehicle list was not populating, this has now been addressed.

Enhancements:

  1. Key name now allows non-numeric characters, along the lines of what is allowed in the Run name.
  2. Key name can be edited in place, when there is a change in an existing key's label.


Bug fixes:

  1. When a location serves multiple customers, the customer selection field does not persist the selected customer when navigating across different screens.  This issue has been fixed.
