Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance)
New features:
- Traversa interface: added Traversa to the list of automated interfaces available for importing routes from external route planning software systems into B360.
- School calendar: this will provide users the ability to schedule calendar events to advance or postpone school bell times on certain days on a one-time or weekly recurring basis. This can be used to indicate such planned school events as 'Early outs', 'Late starts', etc. The stop times of the Runs that serve the schools with such events will be adjusted automatically during the overnight 'generate' process, to reflect the adjusted bell times.
Enhancements:
- Automated interface to external RPS (route planning software):
- Added a flag that allows the user to specify if stops with zero student counts are to be included when pulling in stops using the routing interface. The current default in production is to exclude such stops.
- Added provision to create a 'stop exclusion list' to filter out stops that are to be excluded from the Runs being pulled in through the routing interface. This can be used to exclude certain yards and parkouts that are sometimes included as 'stops' by routers when creating Runs in the external RPS but need to be excluded in B360 as these are not student pick-up or drop-off points.
Bug fixes:
- Actual yard departures and arrivals are captured for cancelled tasks. This issue is fixed, cancelled tasks will no longer record these events.
- When adding a task from the Dispatch, Schedule or Payroll screens, if the user double clicks on the save button, duplicate tasks are being created. This issue is fixed.

Release notes - Parent App
New features:
- School calendar: this will provide bus operators the ability to schedule calendar events to advance or postpone school bell times on certain days on a one-time or weekly recurring basis. The system will adjust the bus tracking window for the parent app to match the scheduled changes in bell times, enabling parents to view the bus and get zone alert notifications in accordance with the adjusted bell times for that day.
Enhancements:
- Support Assistant: the support assistant screen has been enhanced to include a date filter and the data displayed on the screen will now pertain to the selected date. This change has been made to align with the school calendar feature which now could result in different notification windows on different days. The vehicle->key assignments displayed on the screen will also reflect any bus re-assignments made for the selected date.
- Student Ridership - 'ZPass Only' option: this will enable school district customers to subscribe for the 'student ridership tracking' features of the parent app without its bus tracking features. Parents will be able to use the parent app to receive ZPass scan notifications from their students on their mobile phones.
Bug fixes:
- When the system contains multiple inactive vehicle->key mappings for a vehicle, addition of new key mapping to the bus results in errors. This issue has been fixed.
