The following are the changes in the upcoming release:


Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance)


New features:

  1. Added Routing interface using Tyler Onboard API


Enhancements:

  1. Added provision for a Location to have multiple fleet interfaces, to optimize GPS data pulls for locations with a large fleet of buses.
  2. Added a layer of security around employee rates, so that a user can be granted access to the Employee screen without automatically granting access to the Employee Rates screen.  Access to Employee Rates can now be included as an add-on permission to the Employee screen access.
  3. Enhanced the Reporting API to include the Route Planning Software (RPS) ID in the response to the 'Get Master Task-assignment' call.

Bug fixes:

  1. Changed the method of pulling the Runs list in the routing interface from Traversa, to address time-out issues experienced when a large volume of Runs is being pulled, especially for large locations.
  2. There was an issue with the display of the bread-crumb trail of a vehicle in the Locate function on the Dispatch screen, when the fleet is equipped with Samsara devices.  This is now resolved.
  3. Fixed an issue that that resulted in duplicate tasks when tasks are imported into the system using the 'task import' feature.  The option to click more than once on the 'submit' button that caused this has been corrected.
  4. Addressed an issue that resulted in an error when the 'task import' feature was used to import tasks of less than one hour duration.
  5. When the pay-file transmission function is invoked, the text displayed has been updated to indicate that the file is being generated; the prior text was causing some confusion to the users.
  6. When a vehicle is added to a location beyond 11:59 PM GMT, it was not available for assignment the same day.  This issue has been addressed.
  7. When an employee is added to a location beyond 11:59 PM GMT of the current day, that employee was not available for assignment the same day.  This issue has been addressed.

Bug fixes:

  1. Calendar event created for a school should only shift the primary bell times for school notifications.  Secondary bell times set up for such schools were also being shifted when these should remain the same.  This issue has been addressed.
  2. When a vehicle is added to a location beyond 11:59 PM GMT, it was not available for Vehicle->Key mappings.  This issue has been addressed.
