On the dispatch screen in Bytecurve 360 when a GPS interface is connected, you will see an indicator light green, yellow, red based on different situations throughout the day. No light will show if a GPS interface is not set-up for the location you are viewing in dispatch.

 

The different color statuses determine whether the processing of GPS messages is active based on the timestamp of the last GPS message received. You will see the current time listed below the date and next to the color indicator status.

 

The indicator light is meaningful only when you have buses running on the road and you expect many GPS messages coming in. If the buses are not moving at all for the day, this indicator could be red for a long time until movement resumes. It is not an indicator of overall system status and should not impact use of the general Bytecurve system.

 

The different color statuses below show whether you are current in the processing of GPS messages, and this is based on the timestamp of the last GPS message received.
