Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance)

Enhancements:

  1. On the Manage Runs screen, a column has been added to display the name of the routing interface the Run came from, if it originally pulled from an external routing application
  2. The 'Refresh Run' function has been updated to improve the overall performance and to  certain time-out errors caused by network latency.
  3. Added a check to prevent the depot type of the default depot of a location from being changed to 'Park-out'.

Bug fixes:

  1. On the main Calendar setup screen, corrected a user interface issue related to the selection of 'weekly' or 'monthly' view of the calendar.
  1. Added a check to prevent import of multi-day routes, as this causes downstream issues in the Schedule screen.
  2. In the Multi employee sign-in screen, the date value displayed shows the date on the Dispatch screen even if the user has not applied the date filter by clicking on submit.
  3. When the user tries to delete a task code that has been used in Dispatch or Schedule, the system hangs without a proper error message; this has been addressed to display an appropriate error message.
  4. When the user creates a task in 'verified' status from the Payroll screen, the task should appear in the Dispatch screen with a status of 'Completed*'.  This was not working earlier, and has been fixed.
  5. Corrected the following issues with the Payroll Adjustments screen:
    1. When the adjustment file is transmitted, there was an issue with the confirmation message being persistent.  Also, the transmitted records were not marked as 'sent' until the user refreshed his/her screen.  Both these issues are now fixed.
    2. Added provision to select 'payroll' type task-codes when adding an adjustment entry.
  6.  The 'sign-out at current time' option has been corrected to take into account both the current date and time when registering the current time as the task sign-out time.
  7. When the pay-period of the home location of a shared employee is locked and the user tries to edit a task performed by that employee at the borrowing location the system displays a generic error; this has been corrected to show an appropriate error message.
  8. On the Payroll screen (weekly & detail views), if the paid start and paid end dates fall on two different days then system prevents the user from editing this task.  This has been corrected.
  9. The Actual or Paid times displayed on the Payroll screen for tasks that are electronically signed in/out are do not always match the difference between the displayed start and end times due to the high precision of the electronic timestamps.  This issue has been addressed.
  10. Yard / park-out de-activation: the system will allow yards / park-outs to be deactivated if there are no active tasks associated with that yard/park-out.
  11.  employee editing Tasks that were performed by a shared Employee at the borrowing Location when home Location has Pay Period locked

Known issues from this release:

Employee Name Auto-complete Functionality

When the user enters partial employee name to search for an employee, then selects an employee, such as when adding an 'employee task', the search characters will not be automatically removed.  This is an existing issue that was to be addressed in this release.  However, this cannot be fixed because the fix takes away the ability to select more than one employee, which is a more important feature in the 'Add employee task' function.

Editing Paid start or end times from Time & Attendance Verification

When an employee has either a missing actual start time OR actual end time for a past date that is the 31st of a month, on the Time & Attendance Verification screen and you try to update the paid time column for the missing time punch, the system incorrectly flags this as an error.

To address this, please add the missing clock-in or clock-out punch on the Dispatch screen.  If you have multiple missing punches for any reason, you may be able to use the ‘Multi-employee sign in’ function on the Dispatch screen to complete this.

For more information on Multi-employee Sign In, please refer to the solution article Multi-employee Sign-in / Sign-out.

Parent App [MyView, Safestop, Where's My Kid, BusZone]
