The Timeclock 360 application, in versions 2.0.3 and later, has the ability to manually query the Bytecurve servers to check for an update to the client.  Please follow these steps to manually check for an update, and apply the update if one is available.


Checking for and Applying an Update to Timeclock 360


Step 1: Access the Configuration menu

  • From the home screen of the Timeclock 360 application, click on the blue "gear" icon to launch the Configuration menu.


Step 2: Check for Update

  • From the Configuration menu, click on the Check For Update option, as shown below to request the latest update information from the Bytecurve servers.


Step 3: Downloading the update

  • If an update is available, the download will begin immediately, as shown below.  If no update is available, you will be notified of this scenario.


Step 3: Installation

  • Following the completion of the download, you will be prompted to install the update that has just been downloaded.

    Please follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation, and accept all requests for permission to apply the update which may appear.


Step 3: Verifying the Update

  • After the update has been installed, you will be prompted to restart the Timeclock 360 application.  Please accept this request.  The home screen will launch, and you will notice that a new build number is indicated at the bottom of the home screen.  In this example, we have accepted an update from 3.1.3 (step 1) to version 3.4.2 (shown below).
