Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance) - version 27
Features:
A new feature has been added by which individual Runs can be cancelled on any given day, from the Dispatch screen. The route timings will adjust based on the position of the Run in the route it is part of. For more details, please see here.
Enhancements:
- The API gateway has been enhanced to cache user authentication tokens to improve API performance especially when bulk data operations are performed using the Bytecurve API.
- Added provision to capture the prevailing minimum wage at a location. This is required to determine any wage premiums that may be owed to employees in certain states requiring compliance with 'split-shift' and 'spread-of-hours' laws.
- In the Payroll Verification screen when a task is being verified, the system raises an error if the same vehicle is assigned to two overlapping tasks. This conflict check is now removed, since conflicting vehicle assignments does not have to hold up payroll verification of a task.
- In the Dispatch screen, the check for Vehicle and Employee conflicts is now optional, based on a location level setting. By default, the system will continue to work as is, but if a location would like to by-pass this conflict check, for either Employee assignments or for Vehicle assignments, this can be done by raising a support ticket to the Bytecurve support team. For locations that do not need these conflict checks, bypassing these would result a small improvement in the system response times on the Dispatch screen.
- Provision for employees to electronically request additional time for unplanned tasks that were not on their schedule for them to clock-in/clock-out. This feature requires the premium version of the Timeclock and/or DriveOn app, for an extra charge. Please contact Bytecurve support for more information.
Bug fixes:
- The 'Location' filter in the Manage Users screen was not functioning correctly, this has been addressed.
