When schools are closed for an extended period of time (winter break/spring break) and employees are not being paid it may be necessary to cancel all tasks. To achieve this, the user would use the Multi-employee Sign-in/Sign-out feature.

This function can be found under Operations > Dispatch > Frequently Used > Multi employee sign in.

After selecting Multi employee sign in a pop-up appears.  This pop-up window is best described in two sections.

  1. In the top section you will find the filter criteria to assist you in identifying the tasks/employees you wish to sign in, out, and/or cancel.  The filter options are:
    • Employee – if you know the name of the specific employee you would like to sign in, out, and/or cancel you can enter it here.
    • Task ID – if you know the name of the specific task you would like to sign in, out, and/or cancel you can enter it here.
    • Dispatch Type – you can filter the tasks/employees by the Dispatch that the tasks are assigned to.
    • Task Group – you can filter the tasks/employees by the Task Group (HTS, FT/CH, or Indirect).  This is defined by the task code assigned to the task.
    • Task Code – you can filter the tasks/employees by the Task Code.  This is defined by the task code assigned to the task.

Enter the desired filter criteria and click Submit.

  • The bottom section displays a list of available tasks/employees that can be signed in, out, and/or cancelled that meet the selected filter criteria.

2. Use the check boxes to select which tasks/employees you would like to cancel.

After the selections are made click Save.

Please note this must be done on a day-by-day basis. While you are able to cancel all future tasks you have to cancel them one day at a time (i.e., cancel all of Monday's tasks, then go back and cancel all of Tuesday's tasks etc.)

Furthermore, any tasks that do not have an employee or vehicle assigned to it will not be group cancelled.

For those tasks the user will need to cancel them each individually on the dispatch screen for all days that they generate.
