The bus you selected in the app is the bus identifier that represents your student’s bus for the year, something that will not change on a day-by-day basis no matter which physical bus operates your route.
The number you see on the map is the transportation operator’s internal bus identifier that is running your route on that day. You may, however, want to provide this identifier to the support team if you have any issues getting notifications or tracking your bus
