In instances where task codes are needed to be updated in bulk, such as for holidays, the mass update task code feature from the ‘Verify Hours’ screen can be used.

Note that this only applies to tasks that have already been verified.

How To Mass Update Task Codes

  1. Navigate to Payroll > Verify Hours.
  2. Select ‘Weekly View’

  3. From the ‘Time and Attendance Summary’ screen, select the Frequently Used drop-down and click ‘Mass task code change.’


  4. The pop-up window for Mass task code change will appear. Select the desired start and end dates for which to apply the change, then select the task code you wish to change the existing tasks to.

  5. Under the ‘Task Selector’ table, check all of the tasks you wish to change, then click the ‘Add’ button between the two tables to select them to be updated.

  6. After verifying the tasks in the ‘Selected Tasks’ table, click ‘Update’ to finalize the change.
