To make it so certain stops, or school stops, are excluded from being brought into Bytecurve from your routing system you can utilize the stop exclusions feature from the ‘Manage Runs’ screen.
Adding Stop Exclusions
- Navigate to Operations > Runs.
- Click the ‘Route interface’ drop-down menu, then select ‘Stop exclusions’.
3. The pop-up window for ‘Exclude Stops’ will appear:
4. Enter the name of the stop as it appears in the routing system, then press ‘Add’. The newly added stop will then populate in the square below.
5. Once all stops have been added, press ‘Save’ to complete the process of adding stops to be excluded from the routing system.
a. Note, there is a provision to apply the stop exclusions for excel imports of runs and stops as well, simply check the box ‘Apply to Excel Import’ from the ‘Exclude Stops’ pop-up window to enable that feature.
6. The stop exclusions will not impact any existing runs once created. Only newly added runs or runs that are manually refreshed after they have been created will be affected.
