Bytecurve360 (Scheduling & Dispatch, Time & Attendance)
Features:
No new features included in this release.
Enhancements:
- The yard departure and yard return times are based on the system calculated drive time between the yard and the first/last stops. Users can now adjust this time by providing a value between -10 and +30 minutes, to account for situations where the actual drive time does not match the Google estimated drive time. For more details check here.
- The Route (Schedule) Import function has been enhanced to take in the following optional attributes: Task code, Departure yard, Return yard, Employee, and Vehicle. For more details, please check here.
- The 'Add task' screen off the Verify Payroll screen has been enhanced to take in a flat dollar amount whenever a flat pay task code is applied to a task being added.
- The Verify Payroll screen display has been updated to enable faster load times. This has been an inconvenience to users when a large number of tasks need to be displayed based on the filter criteria set by the user.
- The Synovia (CalAmp) fleet interface has been updated to improve processing efficiency, for overall performance improvements.
- The Schedule screen display has been updated to display a larger number of rows, to make better use of the available screen display area.
- After a task has been 'payroll verified' it will no longer be editable in the Dispatch screen. If a task does need to be edited after its verified, the user can 'un-verify' the task, edit it and then re-verify.
- When the user locks a given pay-period, the system will perform a final check for paid time overlaps. The system will continue to check for this each time a task is verified, per current functionality; the final check is being added as a safety-net feature to prevent paid time overlaps from going through to payroll.
Bug fixes:
- When refreshing Runs in bulk, duplicate schedules were created under certain special circumstances. This issue has been addressed.
- When creating adjustment entries on the 'Payroll->Add/Deducts' screen, the user can now select Inactive employees. This will allow retroactive payments to an employee who performed a task in the past but is no longer active currently.
- There was an issue where the system removed the Vehicle assignment to a task when the user made any update to the task from the 'Details' pop-up pertaining to the task. This issue has been addressed.
Known issues:
1. The adjustment to drive time is not currently maintained when a user re-packages routes on the Route screen. The drive time adjustment is maintained if a run is refreshed from the route planning system or is manually updated by a user on the Run screen.
